Jodell Robot Obtains Patent for Anti-Creep Guide Rail, Preventing Relative Creep Between Slider and Base

Staff Reporter On February 7, 2026, information from the National Intellectual Property Administration revealed that Suzhou Jodell Robot Co., Ltd. has obtained a patent for “An Anti-Creep Guide Rail,” with authorization announcement number CN223881563U and an application date of April 2025 . This patented technology aims to solve the precision loss problem caused by relative micro-displacement (creep) between the slider and base during high-precision linear motion.

The patent abstract indicates that this utility model discloses an anti-creep guide rail, comprising: a base; a first slider capable of linear sliding relative to the base in a first direction; a roller retainer assembly arranged between the base and the first slider, which includes a first retainer body, at least two rows of first rollers arranged in parallel along the first direction, and a first anti-creep unit .

The innovation of this technology lies in its mechanical anti-creep design. Opposite side walls of the first slider and base are provided with first track grooves, and both ends of the first rollers are confined within these first track grooves . More critically, the first anti-creep unit includes a first gear and a first rack. The first gear is axially constrained on the first retainer body and rotates with the sliding direction of the first slider, while the first rack is arranged on the first slider and/or base to engage with the first gear. Importantly, the rolling path of the first gear does not coincide with the rolling path of the first rollers .

In traditional guide rail designs, creep phenomena may occur between the roller retainer and the slider or base during long-term, high-frequency reciprocating motion, affecting motion accuracy and positioning stability. Jodell Robot’s patented technology, through the ingenious design of the gear-rack synchronization mechanism, effectively limits the relative displacement between the roller retainer and the slider, thereby ensuring the accuracy and stability of the guide rail during high-precision motion.
